Named After Our Daughter, Ella.
Chapter E is our love letter to Israeli and Middle Eastern food — and to our daughter Ella, whose name gave this little corner of Darlinghurst its soul.
Every item on our catering menu is made in-house, from scratch, just as it would be in a Tel Aviv kitchen. No shortcuts. No frozen food. Just honest, flavour-driven cooking you can taste the care in.

Absolutely amazing shawarma! As an Israeli, I can honestly say this tastes exactly like the shawarma I used to eat back home at Machane Yehuda. Authentic, full of flavour and true to the original Israeli style. The meat was juicy, everything was fresh, and the portions were generous. Great food, great people and proper Israeli hospitality. Definitely coming back! Highly recommend👌👌👌

The shakshuka at Chapter E is fantastic. Adding both the chorizo and lamb was a great call, as the rich meat works incredibly well with the spiced tomato base, eggs, and feta. Pairing it with the side of smooth hummus made the whole dish even better. The freshly squeezed juices were super cold, refreshing, and clearly made from real fruit on the spot. Great food, solid portions, and I am definitely becoming a regular here.
Have been enjoying the food, coffee and hospitality of this business for many many years. I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is. Corny but I have to say make this chapter a part of your next chapter.

The food is amazing, everything is made fresh in house from the hummus, bread, falafel. Service is 10/10. They have a big menu and are happy to talk you through it.
3 of us came for breakfast and were blown away! Absolutely delicious flavours! I had the Malawachshuka, I’ve never had such delicious hummus- it was so creamy! My husband had the Malawach Sabich and the curry flavours were phenomenal! We’ll be back next Sydney trip for sure!

Excellent food and very fast & friendly service at this mostly takeaway cafe that serves Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food.There is seating inside and outside tables as well.I'd recommend the shakshuka( Mediterranean dish)which is their specialty along with the lamb falafel which is delicious.Scrambled eggs are done to perfection as are the sandwiches- all at reasonable prices that WON'T make you wish 'I shoulda had brekky at home'.Hghly recommended are the ' green omelette & green omelette sandwich '.Great coffee and delicious fruit smoothies like banana and berry.Staff are always hard working and fast serving while smiling along with the owner Izzy who's also very friendly and always has a smile- great team.

Came in this morning and left feeling genuinely uplifted. Issi is one of those rare owners who puts real heart into everything, from the food, the atmosphere, and the conversation. You can tell he chooses his staff well too, because the team inside were warm, welcoming and on point the whole time. The shakshuka and iced latte were both excellent, and the spread of Middle Eastern sides is as authentic as it gets. But honestly it was the whole experience. The people, the food, the vibe is what made it memorable. A genuinely special little spot. I hope this place gets all the support it deserves. Will absolutely be back. 5 stars without hesitation.

We deliver catering across Sydney: Darlinghurst, Kings Cross, Potts Point, Surry Hills, Woolloomooloo and the CBD, with wider metro delivery quoted on request. Every dip, salad and falafel ball is made in house daily at 201 Darlinghurst Rd, so it arrives fresh, never frozen.
